Daycare

Dogs are pack animals. They need to move, sniff, run, and socialize! Whether your dog is in need of activity to burn off that excess energy or they need extra attention while you're at work, we provide daycare fun for adult dogs and young dogs.

We provide Kuranda beds in the run so your dog can be in a comfy place. â€‹

We are an exclusive facility, in that we test for temperament and excessive barking. We are surrounded by neighbors and we do our best to keep them happy.

No reservations needed for daycare services.

Please ensure you pick up your dog(s) by the designated times to avoid additional charges. Thank you for your understanding!

Daycare guidelines

  • No reservations are necessary for daycare.

  • You may drop off at any time during our business.

  • Please call if you are running late to pick up your dog; a late fee will apply.

  • Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • A half-day of daycare for $40 is available for visits lasting less than 4 hours.

  • Please introduce yourself and your dog to the employee at the front desk for your first few visits so that we can get to know you quicker. Example: "Hi, my name is Timmy, and this is Lassie.”

  • All dogs are required to have a collar and a leash. This is so we can bring them in and out of the facility. The handler can guide or separate dogs if necessary, and in an emergency, all dogs can be quickly rounded up and moved.

  • Dogs 4 months and older, must be current on: Distemper, Bordetella, Rabies, Canine Influenza, and Leptospirosis. Dogs must also be in good health, flea/tick free.

  • Puppies 3.5 months old require: Distemper, parvovirus (DAPP), Canine Influenza, Bordetella: Seven (7) days waiting period.  Rabies and Leptospirosis can be given at 4 months, so these vaccines are not necessary at time of Mutt and Greet for 3.5 month old puppies.

  • Dogs must be spayed or neutered by 6 months.

  • There are certain breeds and sizes that don't do well in our facility. Please talk to us to understand more.

  • Even after passing the initial temperament test, dogs may develop behavioral tendencies that make them unsuitable for a daycare environment. LDD reserves the right to expel a dog from the daycare program at any time for any reason.
